When a team supports more than one business, switching workspaces to check each inbox slows down follow-up and scatters the team’s view of customer work.

**Business Groups in KaoJai.ai** lets you organize related businesses into one group and see and manage their conversations in one **Unified Inbox**. You can still select an individual business whenever you need its specific context. Business Groups is currently available through **Early Access**.

## What is a Business Group?

A Business Group is a workspace for organizing businesses or tenants that your team operates together—for example, companies in the same group, connected brands, or branches supported by one service team. When you select the group in the tenant switcher, conversations from its businesses appear in one view so the team can start with the full picture.

Set it up from **Settings > Business groups**. Drag an eligible business from the left into an existing group or the area for creating a new group, then give the group a name your team will recognize.

## How to get started

1. Open **Settings > Business groups**.
2. Drag eligible businesses from **Unassigned** into an existing group or the new-group area.
3. Name the group and save your changes.
4. Open the tenant switcher and select the Business Group to see the combined inbox.

If you do not see Business Groups yet, your account may not have Early Access. The feature only shows businesses that are eligible and within the enabled access scope.

## Frequently asked questions

### Does a Business Group merge business data?

No. It does not move or merge the businesses’ data. It provides one conversation view for the businesses your team is allowed to access.

### Can I still view one business at a time?

Yes. Select a child tenant in the tenant switcher to focus on that business’s conversations.

### How do I set up a group?

Go to **Settings > Business groups**, drag eligible businesses into an existing group or the new-group area, then name and save the group.

### Can an ineligible business be added?

No. Businesses without access remain in **Not eligible** and cannot be dragged into a Business Group.

### Who should use Business Groups?

It is designed for users who support multiple businesses and want one operational inbox while keeping the option to work with each business separately.

### Is Business Groups available to everyone?

Business Groups is in **Early Access**, so it is currently available only to accounts or businesses that meet the enabled access criteria.
